Bespoke
At Launa Windows, we offer fascias and roof trim that work as an elegant addition to your home. They are available in all colours of the spectrum, as well as styles galore, giving you a small but mighty way to show off your personality. We measure them carefully to make sure they fit snugly to your home’s exterior and will remain secure there for many years. For a clean and simple look, go for white.
Alternatively, we have darker fascias and roof trim available if you prefer to keep consistency with your home’s roofing. If you want to add some quirkiness to your house, why not go all out with a vibrant colour?
The Difference
A fascia is a series of vertically positioned boards that are fixed to the lower edge of your roofline. Fascia is clearly visible from the outside, which means they are a great way to enhance the appearance of your Exeter or Devon property.
“Roof trim” is a generic term that encompasses fascias, soffits, guttering, cladding, and downpipes. Overarchingly, the expression refers to products designed to protect your roof from moisture-related issues and occupy the length of your property.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between bargeboard, soffit and fascias?
Bargeboards are present at the gable end of the house (at the front), the soffit is parallel to the ground and fascias are located around the roof. They can all provide some form of protection for different parts of the house. However, they can complement one another in terms of colour and thus, become a practical and aesthetically pleasing part of your home.
How long do roof trim and fascias last?
Nowadays, much of our roof trim and fascias are made with uPVC which is long-lasting and doesn’t require too much attention to maintain it. It is a rather modern-looking material that will keep your home not only safe but also looking neat. At Launa Windows, our installers are well-trained and experienced in installing roof trim and fascias that will look good and last for years.
What does roof trim include?
Roof trim encapsulates a variety of different things, such as fascias, soffits, and cladding – to name but a few. Therefore, this term is used rather loosely for any items whose purpose is to protect the roof and its more vulnerable parts.
Roof trim makes your roof weatherproof so that you don’t have the problem of dampness entering your roof and, potentially, your home’s interior. When dampness gets into your home’s interior, it can result in degradation and ongoing rot – both of which could require bigger replacements than just a roof trim. This is why it is so important to be aware of when yours needs an upgrade.
What is a fascia?
A fascia is a delicate board you see on some houses. It runs around the perimeter of the house at the lower part of the roof and protects guttering from leaking into the roof itself. As they have such a pretty yet dainty design, fascias are an easy way to inject some colour and personality into your home.
If you have some which are failing to protect your home from outside damp, we encourage you to get them replaced. Wooden fascias, for example, are not as effective as they can rot.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Exeter, Devon, and the surrounding area, including Torquay, Plymouth, Exmouth, Cornwall, Somerset, Newton Abbot, and more.
Happy Customers
Donna Benwell
We are very pleased with our front door. It looks lovely and far better than I thought it would. The fitter was excellent.

As a family, we have used Launa Windows on several occasions in different properties and have confidence in the service and quality.
This time, I had all windows and the front door replaced, as well as a window-to-patio door adaptation, which has modernized the property completely.
All personnel are helpful and supportive, from office staff to surveyors and workmen. I was kept informed of the processes and stages from beginning to end. I am very happy with the finished product, it has been updated and given a ‘facelift’ to the property, as well as increasing the warmth and light. The pricing was very fair, too, with options to pay in various ways.
Laetitia Mayne
Superb experience from start to finish whilst having our Bifold doors fitted by Launa recently. Duncan, the builder, was brilliant in explaining everything along the way and the fitters, Terry and Dan, were quick and efficient.
I would highly recommend this great local company. No comparison with others around in terms of service, quality and price.
James Lane
We had our windows replaced by Launa Windows and highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of replacing their windows.
The finish is excellent, and the workmanship is very professional, resulting in our home feeling warmer and quieter.
The consultants were helpful and talked us through the whole process, the fitters were reliable, punctual, professional and above all friendly.
Rosemary Farley
From start to finish, this has been a very easy experience. We were absolutely dreading the upheaval of having the new windows and doors fitted, but nothing could have been further from the truth.
Our fitters Dan and Terry were so polite, personable and helpful that nothing was too much trouble. They were here for the whole week, and during this time, they worked so very hard and at the end of each day, they left everything clean and tidy.
I cannot speak too highly of them. At the end of the week, the house looked wonderful, and we were so delighted with having decided to go with Launa.
