How do tilt and turn windows work?
A tilt and turn window opens in two different directions, vertically and horizontally, with one hinge at the top of the frame (or bottom, depending on your preference) that lets the window “tilt” outwards a small amount and another hinge on the side.
This side hinge allows the window to swing inwards like a door and can be locked as far open or closed as you prefer.
