Insulation
Maximising modern technology with state-of-the-art innovation, our triple glazing provides you with a balanced temperature in your home, lower energy bills, and a condensation-free world. The impact of triple glazing is a worldwide affair. In the colder climates of Scandinavia, they predominantly utilise triple glazing for heat retention. The extra windowpane works wonders at preserving your home’s own heat.
If you are ready to invest in a truly innovative product, contact us today to talk about how triple glazing can work in your home.
Customisation
When it comes to our triple glazing, we do not believe in having to sacrifice style for performance. Our windows and doors are available in a vast array of frames, materials, and finishes so that you can make your triple glazed products visually appealing.
In addition to the customisation options mentioned above, our triple glazed glass itself can be customised as well through the use of decorative glazing. As we manufacture all our products, you will be able to design a style or pattern of bespoke decorative glazing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does triple glazing make a difference?
Triple glazing remains the most insulative option you can choose, so you will find a significant difference when you upgrade from double or single glazing. The U-value, which represents heat loss, should be as low as possible. Triple glazing tends to have a U-value of 0.6, in comparison to the U-values of 1.2 and 2 for double and single glazing respectively. A 0.6 U-value is one of the lowest you will find, meaning you should expect to save on your bills as heat will stay within your home much better.
It is important to note, however, that period properties are often predisposed to more draughts than your usual modern build. With this in mind, these issues should be solved before triple glazing installation.
Is it worth replacing double glazing with triple glazing?
Although triple glazing is more insulative than double glazing, it is probably best to replace it when your double glazing is showing signs of ageing. For example, if it is struggling to insulate then you may want to upgrade them to triple glazed. On the other hand, we strongly suggest triple (or double) glazing if your current windows are only single-glazed. This is because single glazing simply does not offer many insulative properties.
Rural areas benefit from triple glazing, especially as the temperatures drop lower than in urban areas at night. Triple glazing can be extremely effective for you and your home and will increase the value of your property, too.
What is the difference between double and triple glazing?
Layers of glass combined with dense gas are found in both double and triple glazing. These panes hold heat-insulating gas to prevent draughts and condensation from forming.
However, triple glazing gives you an additional third windowpane within the frame and, therefore, an additional gap of gas to protect you from heat escaping.
